Santa was at the tree farm

We found it !

Trying to find the perfect tree...

Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving !! We sure did. Ate lots of good food :) The boys sure have enjoyed the extra time at home with mommy and daddy ! Every morning getting up and asking "do we have to go to daycare today?" Friday evening we got all bundled up for the Light up Logansport Parade. As always, the boys really enjoyed it. It wasn't near as cold as it was last year. After the parade we went back to Papa Jeff's to hang out and visit. The boys were all "sugared up" and didn't crash until after 1:00 a.m. ! Memaw (Diane) took the boys on Saturday so Josh and I could work on tearing out the rest of the wall. Did I mention I don't like living in the middle of a home remodeling project? It is not a lot of fun, especially with two lil boys in the house! It will be finished soon though :) It is hard to believe it is time to put up a Christmas Tree !! This will be the first year we get a real tree. We can't wait to take the boys out and let them pick out the Christmas Tree.

It has been a busy weekend in the Erickson household. Josh has been busy workin on the house. He just finished the new ceiling in the bathroom with a brand new exhaust fan with a heater and all new lights, new bedroom door and 2 new closet doors. Next weekend him and Mat get to work on tearing out a wall and then new floor in the kitchen/dining room !! Can't wait :0 ) I am very thankful that I have a husband that is not only a master electrician but a carpenter as well :) No new pictures to post. We should have new family pictures to post this week !! Have a great week!!

Jake's 4th Birthday!

Josh loves taking pictures with his new camera!

Halloween 2008

Keeping the blog updated...

I thought I would try and keep this updated more with new pictures of the boys. They are getting so big. I still can't believe Jake is 4 years old. Time sure has flown by. He is doing awesome in preschool - he is in his 2nd year. He really enjoys it and is constantly surprising Josh & I. Recently he put together a 20 piece puzzle all by himself at Uncle Mat's house! We were pretty impressed. He got a leapfrog leapster for his birthday. I definitely recommend this for children his age. You can buy lots of learning games. He loves to play it and is learning all kinds of new stuff. Brayden is also doing awesome. He just started preschool this past September. It is awesome to see what he has learned already. He can count to ten, knows all of his colors and is working on recognizing his numbers. We have been working on potty training. It is going nowhere. He does not want to use the potty -- very frustrating for mommy!! It will come in time. Hopefully before I pull all of my hair out!
