Cookies for Santa

This morning we made cookies for Santa. The boys had a blast. I think their favorite part was licking the bowl. :) According to Jake, Santa is going to eat the cookies and say "Ho Ho Ho! Jake you make the best cookies ever !!"

It has been a long cold week in Logan. The boys' daycare program was canceled due to snow on Tuesday. They couldn't reschedule the program due to the Church's schedule so they decided to have a Christmas party with Santa visiting the daycare on Friday. On Friday morning we woke up to a dark, cold house. Ice covered everything. 90% of Cass County was without power!! Of course the boys daycare was closed, so they missed out on their visit from Santa. I had a very stressful morning at home with the boys with no heat, no power and no Caillou (their favorite show on the Sprout channel). Around noon the roads were cleared enough for me to drop the boys off at Nana's and head to work. Thank goodness. I love my boys, but some days they make me want to pull my hair out ! Saturday night we went to Papa Jeff's to hang out and play pool. As always, it was a lot of fun eating Papa Jeff's awesome chicken dip and Michael's pizza!!

We have all of our Christmas shopping done. The boys are really excited about Christmas this year, anxiously awaiting Santa. It should be a lot of fun this year.
